ONTONAGON COUNTY, MI— A Wisconsin man was killed in a snowmobile accident in Ontonagon County Tuesday.
The Ontonagon County Sheriff’s Office says it received a report of the crash on Trail #1 in Bergland around 12:24 p.m. on Tuesday.
The deputy responding to the incident found a 56-year-old man from New Glarus, Wisconsin dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
No other information is available at this time.
Assisting at the scene were Michigan State Police, US Forest Service Law Enforcement, SONCO Ambulance, the Ontonagon County Medical Examiner, and Lake Gogebic Towing.
