COLUMBUS TOWNSHIP, MI— A downstate man was killed in a Luce County snowmobile crash on Sunday.
The Luce County Sheriff’s Department was called around 3 p.m. to an area near County Road 421 in Columbus Township. Upon arrival, they discovered a 37-year-old Gladwin man had gone off the trail and hit several trees.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
The Sheriff’s Department was assisted by Michigan State Police and Luce County EMS.
