NIAGARA, WI— A Menominee Falls teen was killed in a UTV crash in Niagara on Saturday.
The Marinette County Sheriff’s Office says it happened around 4:45 p.m. off of Hobart Lane.
Investigation indicates that Gabriel Avila-Neuheisel, 18, was traveling down a dirt road on personal property when he lost control of the UTV and rolled over. He was not wearing a seatbelt or a helmet and was ejected from the vehicle. Avila-Neuheisel sustained fatal injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, Marinette County Sheriff’s Office, and the Marinette County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Assisting at the scene were the Niagara Police Department, Niagara Fire Department, Niagara Rescue, and Integrity Care EMS.
