Menominee County 4-vehicle crash sends people to hospitals

INGALLSTON TOWNSHIP, MI— Several people were injured in a four-vehicle crash in Menominee County on Monday.

It happened around 4 p.m. on M-35 near Kleinke Park in Ingallston Township.

One person was airlifted from the scene by a Guardian Flight helicopter for advanced medical treatment. Additional vehicle occupants were taken to area hospitals for evaluation.

The highway was closed for a time while emergency crews worked to assist the injured. An accident investigator was called in to reconstruct the crash and determine the circumstances leading up to the collision.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call the Menominee County Sheriff’s Office at 906-863-4441. Information may also be reported anonymously via the Crime Stoppers of Marinette and Menominee County Facebook page or through the Crime Stoppers mobile tip app.
