NIAGARA, WI— A Niagara, Wisconsin man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Marinette County over the weekend.
Sheriff Randy Miller says it happened Saturday around 5:50 p.m. on Wishman Road, just east of US-141 in Niagara.
Christopher Recla, 54, was northbound on his motorcycle when he lost control and crashed. He was not wearing a helmet and sustained fatal injuries.
Failure to negotiate a corner and failure to maintain control appear to be factors in the crash, which remains under investigation by the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office and Marinette County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Assisting in the incident were Niagara Rescue, the Niagara Fire Department, and Town and Country Towing.
