OMA, WISCONSIN— One man died and another was arrested following a two-snowmobile crash in Iron County, Wisconsin last week.

Friday at about 8:15 p.m., Iron County Emergency Dispatch received a report of a crash on Trail 17 about a mile north of County Highway G in the town of Oma.

Deputies found one man was unresponsive and parties at the scene had begun lifesaving efforts. Those efforts were continued by deputies, Hurley Snowmobile Rescue, and Beacon Ambulance personnel, but they were unsuccessful. The 52-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
