ELY TOWNSHIP, MI— Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Ely Township Thursday.

The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office says it happened around 6:30 p.m. at US-41 and County Road 496 SE. An 82-year-old Ishpeming man was driving on 496 when he failed to yield to a vehicle on the highway due to poor visibility.

The three occupants of the other vehicle were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
