CRIVITZ, WI— A Sheboygan, Wisconsin man has died from injuries sustained in a car crash in Crivitz earlier this month.

The Marinette County Sheriff’s Office says it happened at 1:37 a.m. on April 8 on Louisa Street. Terry Garbisch, 66, was eastbound on Main Avenue when he failed to turn on Louisa and crashed into two buildings.

Garbisch, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was taken to the hospital for treatment.

On Saturday, the Sheriff’s Office was notified that he died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.

Speed, alcohol, and failure to wear a seatbelt appear to have been factors in the crash.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
