BEECHER, WI— A Marinette County man died in a motorcycle crash in the town of Beecher Saturday.
An off-duty Sheriff’s Office patrol sergeant came upon the accident just before 1 p.m. on County Highway Z near Fur Farm Drive.
Investigation indicates a Harley Davidson Trike driven by Gary Yaggie, 74, of Dunbar was eastbound when he failed to negotiate a curve. The trike went into a ditch and struck a tree. Yaggie, who was not wearing a helmet, sustained fatal injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office and the Marinette County Medical Examiner’s Office.
