SAWYER, MI— A Marquette man died in a motorcycle crash in Forsyth Township Thursday.
Township Police were dispatched around 4:24 p.m. to the area of 5th Street and Avenue B in Sawyer. They say the accident involved a motorcycle and a passenger car.
The motorcycle driver, a 76-year-old Marquette resident, was taken to UPHS-Marquette, where he succumbed to his injuries. There’s no word on the condition of the driver of the car.
No names are being released at this time due to the ongoing investigation and notification of family members.
Assisting in the incident were Forsyth Township EMS & Fire, UPHS-Marquette EMS, Michigan State Police, the Marquette County Sheriff’s Office, the Michigan State Police Accident Investigation Team, and Heavy Hooker Towing.
