CHAMPION TOWNSHIP, MI— Two people were injured when their dirt bikes collided in Champion Township Monday afternoon.
The Marquette County Special Operations Division was dispatched around 3:55 p.m. to ORV Route C after receiving a report that a man was unconscious on the trail.
Deputies found two victims at the scene.
They say a 40-year-old man and a 44-year-old man, both from Ishpeming, were eastbound on their bikes when the two motorcycles collided. Both riders lost control and crashed.
They were taken to UPHS-Marquette for treatment of minor injuries.
UPHS-Bell and the Champion Township Fire Department assisted at the scene.
