MARQUETTE, MI— A Gwinn resident was seriously injured following a motorcycle crash in the City of Marquette Thursday night.
City Police say it happened just before midnight at the intersection of Division Street and M-553.
Preliminary investigation shows the motorcycle was westbound on Division Street when the driver lost control. The bike tipped over and the driver was ejected onto the pavement at the intersection. The 26-year-old Gwinn resident was taken to UPHS-Marquette and admitted for serious injuries.
The driver was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, which remains under investigation.
