Tech ice artists pull all-nighter

Michigan Technological University students sculpted, chipped and ironed their way through  Wednesday night to create fantastic ice and snow statues for Tech's annual Winter Carnival.

University creative writer Kevin W. Hodur has the story.

Biomedical engineering major Rebecca Whitney is ironing a snow statue, part of the Air Force ROTC entry in Michigan Technological University's Winter Carnival. The theme this year is "Heroes and villains find their powers in these frozen winter hours."
