It's blueberry time!

MARQUETTE, MI--   Downtown Marquette will be all things blueberries this Friday. 

The 16th annual Blueberry Fest takes place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Front and Washington streets. The festival will feature live music, sidewalk sales, food, artists, pony rides, inflatable arcade games, and blueberry fare—from blueberry pizza to blueberry beer.

Additional entertainment will include karate demonstrations by Spirit Warrior Karate Academy at 1 and 5 p.m. and the Youth Talent Show from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., sponsored by the Superior Arts Youth Theater.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
