Michigan Humanities selects Marquette woman as board member

MARQUETTE, MI— A Marquette resident has been selected to serve on the Michigan Humanities Board of Directors.

Anne Donohue is President of the Peter White Public Library Board of Trustees. Officials say she was elected due to her experience in library technology, software training and implementation, project management, and event planning.

They say her extensive experience with libraries and passion for accessible public humanities will make her an asset to Michigan Humanities as a board member.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
