41 North Film Festival receives Michigan Humanities grant

HOUGHTON, MI— Michigan Tech is one of 17 organizations in the state to receive a grant for cultural programming.

Michigan Humanities gives up to $20,000 for projects that support cultural, educational and community-based public programming with a humanities focus.

Tech received a grant for the “41 North Film Festival 10th Anniversary Program.”

Officials say the grants are intended to connect us to Michigan’s rich cultural heritage and historical resources through initiatives that help the people of the state reason together and learn from one another.
