MARQUETTE, MI— Residents are invited to a community conversation at Peter White Public Library Tuesday regarding “belonging” in Marquette.
During the one-hour conversation, attendees will have the opportunity to share their experiences, challenges, and ideas as they relate to inclusivity and belonging in Marquette. They’ll also discuss the direction in which the community is moving forward in those respects.
Everyone is invited to join in on the conversation or listen to what others have to say. Officials say it will be a welcoming environment where everyone participating will be treated with respect and understanding.
The City of Marquette Office of Arts and Culture and Innovate Marquette SmartZone are hosting the event, which takes place Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Peter White Public Library Community Room.
