MARQUETTE, MI— The Marquette Regional History Center has announced the recipients of the 2025 annual history awards.
Phyllis Wong will receive the Helen Longyear Paul Award given to recognize individuals. The Peter White Award, which honors foundations, companies, organizations, and institutions, will be given to the Marquette Federation of Women’s Clubs. Blaine Betts will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award, and Aspen Murphy will receive the Ameen, Honkala, and Richards Young Historian Award.
All recognize exceptional effort in the enhancement, restoration, conservation, or interpretation of the history of our area.
The awards will be given out on February 25 at 6:30 p.m. at the Marquette Regional History Center.
