Clickner nominated to IEDC post

MARQUETTE, MI--   The CEO of the Lake Superior Community Partnership has been nominated to chair a committee with the International Economic Development Council next year.

At the IEDC’s annual conference Amy Clickner was tagged to chair the Planning and Development Committee.

The IEDC is a national and global non-profit membership organization serving economic developers. Clickner will serve on the six-person governing committee for the 5,200-member organization. The council represents the largest network of economic development professionals in the world.

Clickner says the position will allow her to continue showcasing Marquette County and the U.P. to the world.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
