Officials gathering input for downtown Marquette branding

MARQUETTE, MI--   The Marquette Downtown Development Authority is holding two branding roundtables at the Marquette Commons Tuesday.

The DDA is inviting business owners, managers, employees, and property owners within the downtown district to the first meeting at 8 a.m. The public is encouraged to attend the second roundtable at 6 p.m.

During the sessions consultants will share the findings of surveys completed by the public in August and September. They’ll engage attendees in conversations about the character and branding of the downtown district.

The team from Arnett, Muldrow & Associates will take the information they gather from the roundtables to develop a draft brand presentation. The draft will be unveiled Thursday at noon at the Marquette Commons.

Officials say although the roundtables will be tailored to either business stakeholders or the public, anyone may attend either event.
