LSCP to host webinar on the marijuana industry in Marquette County

MARQUETTE, MI--   The Lake Superior Community Partnership (LSCP) is hosting a webinar Thursday, October 15th at 10:00 a.m. with a panel discussion on the marijuana industry in Marquette County,

as well as how it has impacted our criminal justice system and what the community perspective is.

Panelists for the webinar will include Nick Piedmonte and Eric Piedmonte, Co-owners of Dunegrass co., Logan Stauber and Stosh Wasik, Co-owners of The Fire Station and Greg Zyburt, Marquette County Sheriff. The panelists will discuss the growth Marquette County has seen in this industry since its legalization in late 2018, the industry as a whole, and the impact it has had on our local community. There will also be a question and answer portion for those tuning in.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
