MARQUETTE, MI-- Cleveland Cliffs’ third quarter results were lower this year, as expected.
For the period ended September 30 the company reported total revenues of $1.6 billion, compared to the prior year's third-quarter consolidated revenues of $556 million. CCI recorded net income of $2 million during the third quarter of 2020. This compares to net income of $91 million dollars recorded in the prior-year third quarter.
For the nine months ended September 30 2020, the company recorded a net loss of $155 million, compared to net income of $230 million during the same period in 2019.
