SAULT STE. MARIE, MI— Union-represented nurses at MyMichigan Medical Center Sault are holding a rally next week.
The Michigan Nurses Association says the informational picket will take place as nurses negotiate for their first contract with the health system since the hospital was purchased.
The MNA says hospital executives are demanding contract concessions that are not asked of non-union nurses and the corporation is not offering wages that are competitive with other area hospitals.
The rally takes place Tuesday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at MyMichigan Medical Center Sault.
