MARQUETTE, MI— Company HJ Larson & Sons has sold the Marquette Ramada Inn.
The property was purchased by MQT Collection6, LLC, an affiliate of the Base Hospitality Group.
The Downtowner Hotel was built in 1961 in the space currently occupied by the Ramada. HJ Larson & Sons will continue their ownership of the Holiday Inn and Hampton Inn in Marquette.
Officials with Base Hospitality Group took possession of the hotel last Tuesday. They say they intend to keep the majority of the employees that currently work at the Ramada Inn.
