MARQUETTE, MI— Businesses in downtown Negaunee and Ishpeming can now apply for a $25,000 grant through the state Match on Main program.
Administered by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, Match on Main helps new or expanding businesses with grants that support eligible activities. A 10-percent cash match is required.
Negaunee and Ishpeming Downtown Development Authorities must apply through the Lake Superior Community Partnership by February 14.
A Match on Main Grant Overview with the MEDC will be held January 30 at 8:30 a.m. at the West End Economic Hub.
