MELLEN TOWNSHIP, MI— The relocation of a Wisconsin machining company will bring new jobs to Menominee County, Governor Gretchen Whitmer says.

Menco, LLC is moving from a site north of Green Bay to Mellen Township. Company officials say the move will consolidate operations and expand their capabilities with additional machinery and equipment.

The relocation will generate more than $1.2 million in capital investment and is expected to create at least 13 new jobs. The Michigan Strategic Fund provided support with a $100,000 Michigan Business Development Program performance-based grant. Michigan Works! and InvestUP will also support the project with staff time and resources.
