ESCANABA, MI— A longtime Escanaba restaurant is closing its doors permanently.
In a Facebook post Tuesday, Hereford & Hops Restaurant and Brewpub said despite their best efforts, they’ve been unable to maintain sufficient staffing to operate the business at the level of service guests deserve. They’re grateful for the employees who have continued to work alongside the owners, and the decision is not a reflection on their dedication or hard work.
Beginning next week, Hereford & Hops will be closed Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. It will be open Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 4 p.m. until close.
Their final day of business will be Saturday, October 3.
