The Escanaba Public Library is pleased to host award-winning author Bonnie Jo Campbell on Thursday, October 29, at 5:30 p.m. as she discusses her latest novel, 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙨, a tale of love, transgression, and the healing power of family. This contemporary Christmas Carol is a complex, gritty, spooky, and ultimately heartwarming holiday story set in an isolated Michigan farmhouse.

A limited number of books will be available for purchase at the event; however, Campbell encourages readers to purchase copies in advance. The Spirits will be released on October 13, and pre-orders are available through Canterbury Bookstore in Escanaba by calling 906-786-0751 or emailing canterburybookstore@gmail.com by Thursday, October 8.

This event is free and open to the public and is sponsored by the Friends of the Escanaba Public Library. The Escanaba Public Library is located at 400 Ludington Street in downtown Escanaba, Michigan.
