IRON MOUNTAIN, MI--  A man who worked at a McDonald's in Iron Mountain is charged with spitting in a customer's sandwich.

Dalton Ursulean, 23, was ordered Wednesday to stand trial in Dickinson County on a charge of placing a harmful object in food.

A co-worker testified to seeing Ursulean spit in a sandwich ordered by an officer from the Iron Mountain VA Hospital.  The alleged incident occurred August 25.

Attorney Dan Jaspen says Ursulean denies the allegation.

Ursulean remains in the Dickinson County Jail after being unable to post a high bond.
