HOUGHTON, MI-- A Wisconsin man has been arraigned in Houghton County Circuit Court on criminal sexual conduct charges.
Chad LaPointe, 26, is charged with second-degree CSC, fourth-degree CSC, and two counts of accosting a child for immoral purposes.
He’s pleaded not guilty. A pretrial hearing is set for the first week of July.
LaPointe spent nine months in jail last year after he was convicted of attempted third-degree criminal sexual conduct in April. He’s listed as an habitual offender.
