Mistrial declared in Iron Mountain sexual misconduct trial

IRON MOUNTAIN -

A mistrial has been declared in the criminal sexual conduct trial of an Iron Mountain man. According to WLUC-TV, 26-year old Jacob Harvala was charged with three counts of criminal sexual conduct relating to alleged sexual intercourse with a 15-year old victim on three occasions between June and September of 2012 in Kingsford. The mistrial was declared because of technical jury issues. The original trial in March ended in a hung jury.
