Prelim set for alleged flasher

MARQUETTE, MI--   A preliminary hearing has been set for a Texas man accused of flashing two women on a Marquette bike trail.

Chase Rowe, 28, is charged with indecent exposure by a sexually delinquent person in connection with the July 29 incident.

Rowe, who recently moved to Marquette, allegedly exposed himself to a woman walking along the path between Fair Avenue and Wright Street that afternoon.  Another woman on the path allegedly witnessed the incident, as well.

Police found Rowe hiding in a garage on West Avenue.  The victims identified him as the man they saw.

A preliminary exam is set for August 16 in Marquette District Court.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
