Accused stabber sentenced in Dickinson County

IRON MOUNTAIN, MI--   An Iron Mountain man who was arrested for stabbing another man last April has been sentenced.  

Erich Lindlbauer, 32, was accused of stabbing Joseph Spade, 30, in the back.  Spade was treated at Dickinson County Hospital and released the next day. 

Lindlbauer was charged with delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and a misdemeanor count of aggravated assault.  He was given between one year, three months and ten years in prison. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
