IRON MOUNTAIN, MI-- An Iron Mountain teen who pleaded guilty in connection with an armed robbery will spend time in prison.
Jacelin Sims, 17, was arrested in August for holding a West Brown Street resident at knifepoint while he and two other suspects robbed the victim.
In an October plea deal Sims pleaded guilty to unarmed robbery, breaking and entering a vehicle with damage, and larceny of a building. Tuesday he was sentenced in Dickinson County Circuit Court to 3 to 15 years in prison. The judge said Sims could be eligible for the state boot camp program after 12 months.
