Ishpeming meth suspect due in court next week

MARQUETTE, MI--   A preliminary hearing is set for an Ishpeming man arrested on meth charges.  

Branden Steven Holm, 27, is charged with two counts of operating a meth lab and one count of operating a meth lab near specified places, namely, Phelps School, which is closed but holds wrestling practice and other activities. 

Holm was arrested last Wednesday after officers executed a search warrant on 429 High Street.  They found meth components and two, one-pot cookers.

A preliminary exam is scheduled for February 27 in Marquette District Court.  Holm remains lodged in the Marquette County Jail on a $20,000 cash bond. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
