MARQUETTE, MI-- A Marquette man accused of having sexual contact with a child under the age of 13 has pleaded to a lesser charge.
Joseph Bingham, 23, was charged with two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and three counts of second-degree CSC. The victim said she was nine or ten years old when the first incident happened.
Bingham pleaded this week to one count of aggravated assault. Sentencing is set for May 12 in Marquette County District Court.
