Two sentenced for Iron Mountain B&E

IRON MOUNTAIN, MI--   Two of three men arrested for breaking into an Iron Mountain garage July 30 have been sentenced. 

Twenty-year-olds Mathew Lanthier and Tyler McClean were originally charged with breaking and entering a building with intent and malicious destruction of a building between $200 and $1,000.  Both pleaded guilty to felony breaking and entering. 

They were sentenced this week to four months in jail and one year of probation.  The crime could be expunged from their records if they comply with all terms of their sentences. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
