Davis pleads to shooting Marinette man

MARINETTE, WI--   A Marinette, Wisconsin man charged with shooting another man in the arm last may has pleaded guilty to the crime. 

Kenneth Davis, 50, pleaded Monday to first-degree reckless injury, first-degree recklessly endangering safety, and felon in possession of a firearm.  In exchange, charges of intimidation of a witness by threat of force and possession of marijuana were dropped.

The shooting happened on Bay Shore Drive May 22 in Marinette.  Davis fled the scene and was later found in Porterfield, Wisconsin.

Sentencing is set for March 16. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
