MARQUETTE, MI--   The codefendant in a Marquette home invasion case has pleaded guilty to armed

robbery.

Johnathan Roy, 25, was accused of breaking into a Wincrest Drive home in July and threatening the owner with a firearm.  Trial was supposed to begin Monday for Roy, but he entered a guilty plea Friday in exchange for seven other charges being dropped.

Kyle Arrieta, 25, already pleaded guilty to armed robbery.

Sentencing for both men is set for March 6.  They both face up to life in prison.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
