Trial set for home invasion suspect

ESCANABA, MI-- An Escanaba man charged with home invasion is headed to trial.

Harley Finnerty, 25, was arrested in June following the break-in of a residence on the 1400 block of North 20^th Street. He was found allegedly rummaging through a vehicle when officers arrived at the scene.

Finnerty is charged with second-degree home invasion, attempted second-degree home invasion, breaking and entering with damage to property, and two counts of stealing property less than $200.

Trial is set for February 2, 2017 in Delta County Circuit Court.
