Iron Mountain CSC suspect agrees to plea deal

IRON MOUNTAIN, MI--   An Iron Mountain man accused of harboring a runaway juvenile has pleaded guilty to three charges. 

Michael Holmes, 27, was arrested this past April when Iron Mountain Police received information that a 13-year-old girl from Wisconsin was staying at a residence in the city.

Holmes pleaded guilty Monday to communicating with another over the internet to commit a crime, third-degree criminal sexual conduct, and possession of child sexually abusive material.

Sentencing is set for December 6 in Dickinson County Circuit Court.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
