Lemoine sentenced for CSC with juvenile

MUNISING, MI--   An Alger County man charged with assaulting a juvenile less than 13 years of age has been sentenced. 

Thomas Lemoine is accused of assaulting the victim at an AuTrain campground in July of 2014.  On December 2 an Alger County jury found him guilty of second-degree criminal sexual conduct.

On Wednesday Lemoine was sentenced to 3 to 22.5 years in prison.  

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
