MARQUETTE, MI-- A man charged in an assault with scissors has been sentenced.
Alan Beauchamp, 53, is accused of trying to stab another man at the Marquette Warming Center in November of 2016. He pleaded guilty to aggravated assault.
Beauchamp is also accused of assaulting an employee at the Marquette County Jail in June.
Beauchamp was sentenced this week to one year in jail with credit for one year served. He was released on his own recognizance.
