Marquette County man pleads guilty to possessing child pornography

MARQUETTE, MI--   A Forsyth Township man arrested for child sexually abusive activity last December has entered a plea in the case. 

Todd Bartczak, 57, allegedly enticed a minor to engage in activity related to child pornography. He was charged with one count of child abusive commercial activity and one count of possession of child sexually abusive material.

Bartczak pleaded guilty this week to the possession charge. He faces up to four years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

Sentencing is set for January 26. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
