ESCANABA, MI--   A Delta County woman has been sentenced for her involvement in a beachside meth lab case in Escanaba.

Jamie Williams pleaded guilty in October to delivery/manufacture of meth and operating/maintaining a meth lab.

She and two other suspects were arrested in July after Public Safety officers found an active meth lab on the beach just north of the coal docks.

Williams was sentenced Monday to 5 to 20 years in prison with credit for 167 days already served for each count. The sentences will run concurrently.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
