Bozile sentenced for attempted murder in Gogebic County

BESSEMER, MI--   A Wisconsin man convicted of trying to kill another man in Ironwood has been sentenced to 14 to 45 years in prison.

A jury last month found Benjamin Bozile, 31, guilty of assault with intent to murder. He was accused of stabbing the victim several times and slitting his throat.

The victim was found bleeding in the parking lot of the Crestview Motel in Ironwood. He spent nearly two weeks in the critical care unit.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
