OAKLAND COUNTY, MI (MPRN)— The teen accused of killing four students at Oxford High School had a not guilty plea entered on his behalf Wednesday.

Ethan Crumbley, 15, has already been bound over for trial.

Crumbley stood mute during a brief video appearance as his attorneys requested that a judge enter the not guilty plea.

The teen faces two dozen counts – including murder and terrorism – for allegedly taking a gun to school in November and killing four classmates, while wounding seven other people.

He still has a chance to change his plea to guilty, which his attorney say remains a possibility.

Crumbley’s parents are due in court in February, both charged with involuntary manslaughter for allegedly ignoring signs their son could commit violence.

The Oxford school district itself is being sued over accusations it did not do enough to safeguard students.
