Five more men accused of plotting to kidnap Governor Gretchen Whitmer will stand trial. A state judge said the evidence presented in preliminary hearings was enough for the case to move forward in Antrim County. That’s where Whitmer’s vacation home is located.
Each of the men faces a felony charge of providing material support for an act of terrorism. All but one face an additional weapons charge.
A pretrial conference is set for December 19th.
