Driver in Marquette police chase arraigned on numerous charges

MARQUETTE, MI— The man who led police on a chase through Marquette and Marquette Township faces several felonies.

Marquette County Sheriff’s deputies responded last Thursday to a residence on Werner Street on a report someone threatened to kill another person. They found the suspect’s vehicle, but the driver led them on a chase through Whetstone Village and onto US-41. The car became disabled near Tadych’s Marketplace Foods.

Daniel Bradbury, 36, is charged with six felonies and one misdemeanor:

  • Operating while intoxicated-third offense
  • Third-degree fleeing and eluding
  • Assault with a dangerous weapon
  • Possession of a controlled substance (narcotic/cocaine)-less than 25 grams
  • 2 counts of resisting/obstructing an officer
  • Driving while license suspended (misdemeanor)

Bradbury remains lodged in the Marquette County Jail on a $30,000 bond.

A probable cause conference is scheduled for Thursday and preliminary exam is set for July 19th.
