MARQUETTE, MI— A Marquette man has made his first court appearance, after he was arrested for hitting pedestrians in the city last month.
Jared Hunt, 27, allegedly struck two pedestrians with his car on Third Street on July 29th, injuring one. He’s also accused of striking a parked car on West Ridge Street.
Hunt was arraigned in Marquette District Court Monday on two counts of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder and two counts of operating under the influence, causing serious injury.
A probable cause conference is set for Thursday and a preliminary exam for August 23rd.
